Motorday- Become a Race driver for a day!
On Gelleråsbanan located just outside
We start the day with coffee and sandwiches, followed by information of the rules and safety regulations. Then it's time to “suit-up” with the correct racing equipment and start driving.
Cars
During the day you compete in race-equipped Volvo C30, Carolikart and drives a Formula Renault 2.0.
The classic Gelleråsbanan is 2400 m long and it’s a very technical track. Unique because you can see the entire track from the spectator area.
Objectives
The driving experience you get during the day, will benefit you in your every day driving. You will learn everything from the correct driving position to take corners correctly at high speeds.You will also learn how the driving aid´s work, including ABS and traction/stability control. After the end of the day, you'll go home as a better, safer and happier driver.
On-board cameras in the Volvo cars records the driving with a cut in camera in the lower right corner that shows the driver. The movie is available on a 4 GB USB memory stick at a cost of SEK 395 including VAT and postage.
